2D/3D Art Week 2
For the second assignment, we had
to take our cannon models and create UV layouts. I was already familiar
with this part of the process, so it went fairly smoothly. Here's a
look at the final UV layout:
Once the UV's were laid out, the next step was to create a higher resolution version of the model and export it out to ZBrush
for detailing. ZBrush is still a bit of a struggle at this point and feels akin to trying to sculpt with no thumbs, but I'm slowly
adapting. Here's what resulted from wrestling with the program:
